Fekkai Launches Super Strength+ PM Repair Serum

Hair care expert Frédéric Fekkai’s observation of hair damage from color and chemical treatments in the 1990s is the inspiration behind his newest innovation 30 years later: Super Strength+ PM Repair Serum.

As its name suggests, the product is applied at night to work on brittle hair while asleep.

“I wanted to create something that wouldn’t feel like any sort of time commitment for my clients and that’s where the idea for creating something that could work on your hair while you sleep was born,” said Fekkai.

Powerbond Technology

It is powered by its Proprietary Powerbond technology, which is scientifically proven to penetrate hair fibers and repair broken bonds. Benefits include strengthening the hair shaft, repairing broken hair bonds, sealing split ends, adding hydration and smoothening. Using a unique bi-functionalized silicone polymer enriched with pyrrolidone carboxylic acid (PCA), it works up to 10 times more effectively than traditional solutions, per the brand.

Its Proprietary SalSphere technology is also scientifically proven to protect against breakage over time.

When used up to three times weekly, clinical studies involving a split end test performed on 50 hair fibers showed that the product repairs 40% of split ends in eight hours and reduces breakage by 85% in eight hours.
